Beyond Support Services and Associates Inc. (BSS) provides individual school support and respite services for individuals with special needs.
Our Mission
Beyond Support Services exists to support and guide students with special needs from 4 to 21 years of age attending school in the Public or Catholic Boards of Education, in a variety of educational settings.
Our Associates are experienced in a variety of behavioural techniques and are thus able to effectively provide the required support throughout the student’s day at school. Strategies may encompass elements of Sensory Integration, principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis, Behaviour Reduction Strategies, and Protocols to ensure that the student is able to function as appropriately in the classroom as his/her skills allow. The ongoing goal for our Associates is to build a partnership with the classroom teacher to strengthen and broaden skills already present while developing new skills in various areas outlined in the student’s I.E.P., developed by the teacher or Special Education Resource Teacher within that school setting.
Our high standard of service excellence, and our commitment to the student and classroom placement, provide families and community partners with comfort in our support services.
